Superb set of truly rare documents , covering war crimes against allied `Terror Flyers ` Part 1 , covers a list of known Prisoner of War camps , including Stalags and Dulags & Oflags. where the camp number is known its given as is the location and the county the P.O.W occupants are from . There is a truly emotive two part intelligence debrief regarding instruction that are infact instructions to engage in actual war Crimes from two separate commanders regarding the protection ( or lack of ) to shot down and capture Allied air crew .... `No shot down air crew will be protected from the rage of the public as they are gangsters...official agencies that attempt to try and counter act the public revenge they will be called into account by me ` Signed Albert Hoffmann , gauleiter Arnsberg 1945 In this lot there are 3 different examples of Allied P..O.Ws mail if these are ` coded ` examples hence them being in this file I have no idea . The 2nd set of documents is a6 page typed intelligence debrief of an American officer captured at LA GLEIZE December 1944 during the Ardennes offensive. The officer in question was captured by elements of the 1st SS Panzer Division` Adolf Hiltler ` under the command of Joachim Peiper The officer goes in to great detail about his capture and several interrogations that were aggressive but not brutal , military equipment was removed from him but personal items such as watch and documents were left untouched , great description is given regarding kit and equipment the SS had , moral ,and general conduct several times the officer was interviewed by Peiper who always talked calmly and decently but was still convinced in German victory .... Food was given when available. Great detail is given regarding the 1st SS Divisions attempt to break out back to the German lines. Condition , generally fine with age tears creases and ` foxing `

File no.1 This is a two part set , the first covering the SS. Economic and Administrative department . (SS Wirtschafts und Verwaltungs Hauptamt ) This is a genuinely fascinating set of documents covering administration and purchasing aspect of the organisation from recruiting and uniforms ,catering schools, Horse breeding centres, finance ,supply and the running and maintenance of the concentration camps . through out the documents they are packed with names ranks, appointments and offices of many SS officers. The 2nd set of documents is an intelligence break down on the `Reichsfuhrers SS ` unit ( The personal staff of Heinrich Himmler) Again this set is packed with names ,ranks and addresses relating to this unit. Please take time to read and study the content . Condition : Generally fair with age , creases odd tears & general `foxing` documents dated 1944 and many marked up ` Confidential` This is probably the only surviving set in the country today.

Large format hard back book ( Polish text ) absolutely packed with period photos ,many never published before here in the U.K. Many photographs of Polish fighters dressed in SS camouflage smocks & Caps that were liberated from the SS clothing depot in Warsaw . Published in the 1950,s this is a genuinely superb book.

SS FELD POST LETTERS 1945 DRESDEN A scarce pair German field post written by an SS Soldier based in Dresden in 1945. Both letters are dated early 1945 ( one cover has a clear 45 date ) Small `I.D type photo attached to one letter , soldier was serving with an SS Pioneer battalion. Condition is fair with age . A rare researchable lot.

SUPERB ROYAL FLYING CORPS DOCUMENTS / PHOTOGRAPH GROUPING A truly rare historical grouping. A large lot of letters, photographs, press clippings & insignia to a Great war R.F.C pilot all contained in a leather writing case. Grouping belonged to : Lieutenant Cyril Frank Hunt R.F.C. LT C.HUNT ,was born in Richmond ,London and prior to service in the R.F.C he had been an officer cadet ( possibly Artist Rifles ) LT .HUNT served for 2 years in France and despite his young age he was specially selected to take part in an aerial bombing raid in to Germany but the raid was cancelled due to the armistice approaching ( written details confirm Hunt was serving with 97 Squadron at the war end ) . lot includes several large stunning photographs many letters including one wrote whilst flying from 3000 feet ..... Condition : the leather case is in poor condition and the stitching has dried out and separated this appears to be due to been stored some where very dry , but the up shot of that is the contents are very fine with no damp. Lot includes LT Hunts officers quality R.F.C cap badge with both blades intact. The letters are mixed up ,some in wrong envelopes and need sorting out ,as always we leave lots as they come to us and the new owner can have that pleasure. Lieutenant Cyril Frank Hunt having survived active service on the western front was tragically killed in a flying accident in 1919 - he was not yet twenty years old.

Good clean carton and out packing as is the actual playing board ,comes with chess pieces and drafts discs ( ALL fine and complete). The factory that manufactured these was bombed in 1943 and never reopened. A 1940 dated envelope Is In the case and appears to be a score sheet A superb prop for living history displays or war time vehicle
