The sign is new the market, having surfaced directly from a vet\'s family. It is small sized and clearly is a well worn item. 1939 Army Ammo Boots These are a pair of completely untouched size 8 large, 1939 dated, Army ammo boots. Both are in good condition as clearly shown. They are a perfectly matching pair, with each boot 1939 dated, as shown. They are also WD stamped, as shown. The left-hand side boot, has lost some of it's hob nails, at the front. The boots are uncleaned and will look impressive, after some minimal, cleaning. This is an exceedingly rare opportunity, not to be missed . Postage for new customers is set at £35 on this order. 1939 Ration Books Family Set This is an October 1939 dated pair of ration books, issued to a Mr and Mrs Hooper, from Ashstead, in Surrey. The family\'s 2 boys were born in 1942 and 1946 and their two ID cards, are included, in this grouping. The ration books do have many pages, still inside. Mr Hooper served in the 6th Battalion, Surrey Home Guard.
1940 British Army Clasp Knife This is a Broad arrow stamped and 1940 dated, 2 blade example. It has been well looked after and has been thoroughly cleaned. The can opener blade has been shortened, at some stage. Both blades are taut, on the knife and have an excellent spring action, when moved. UK SALES ONLY. 1945 Victory Ashtray This is a small, metal Victory in Europe ashtray. It measures 11 by 11 cm and still retains the majority of it\'s original , wartime transfers. Produced in 1945, these ashtrays celebrated the wartime alliance of the Allied Powers.

Admiral Doenitz Press Photo This is a wartime, British Press Agency photo, of Admiral Doenitz, which was taken, at the end of the war. The photo is showing it\'s age, with a small rip, on the top. It has lost it\'s original, paper press caption and a previous collector has added a stamp, to the reverse. These faults, aside, the photo remains an impressive, wartime portrait and is priced accordingly.

Afrikakorps ME109 Pilot\'s POW Grouping This is a small, but very interesting grouping. It comprises of 2 letters from a ME109 pilot, who was shot down in November 1942, in North Africa. There are 2 photos from North Africa, one showing the pilot. He was sent to a POW camp in Algeria. Both of the letters have been fully translated into English, by a previous collector. They are both 2 sided and there is an envelope, addressed to his wife. It is a small slice of Luftwaffe history, to a pilot, who was a very fortunate man.
Afrikakorps POWS Postcard This is a wartime period postcard of two, DAK soldiers. Apart from some minor marks, to the front, right hand corner, it is in very good condition.

Afrikakorps NCO\'s Studio Portrait This is a wartime studio portrait, taken in Germany of an DAK NCO. The uniform detail is particularly good, as shown. The studio address is clearly visible on the reverse and the vet annotated the photo.
AFS Vet\'s Leather Jerkin This leather jerkin is wartime issue. It came directly from the vet\'s family. The vet served early in the war in the AFS. He was issued this leather jerkin for fire duties. It has lost it\'s wartime label, but it is clearly stamped, on the inside, as AFS 1. The vet added a modification to the back of the neck. It is fitted with buttons, which I assume was for a hood, to protect the fireman. The jerkin is a medium size and in good condition overall. As with most leather jerkins, there is a split to the shoulder section, where the stitching has come loose, as clearly shown. All of the features on the jerkin are wartime.
AGRA This is a good, Post war, embroidered example. It is clearly tunic removed and well worn.

Aldershot District This is a 1948 pattern example, embroidered on wool. It has a paper backing and is a well worn example. There is a small rip, on the left hand side and some staining.

Britain\'s Home Guard This is a 1945 dated, hardback publication, written by John Brophy. The book presented a visual tribute to the Home Guard, after the \'Stand Down\' in December 1944. The book was published early in 1945, as the annotated inscription, at the front shows. Apart from some discolouration, to the cover, it is in very good condition. Brophy\'s book is seldom encountered and this is an opportunity, not to be missed.

British Army Clasp Knife This is a 1938 dated, Sheffield made example. The vet\'s Army number is stamped, on the spike blade, as shown. The smaller blade does need some WD40, to loosen it, as it is difficult to retract. Both of the blades have a good, taunt, folding action. There is some damage to the bakelite handle and some minor rusting. It is a good, untouched, honest example. UK Sales Only. Customers must be over 18 years of age. British Army Corporal Stripes These are a perfectly, matching pair. They are clearly tunic removed and in very good condition. They both have an ordnance stamp, on the reverse, as shown.
British Army Kit Bag This is a well used example. The vet\'s name and Army number are very clear, as shown. Of particular interest, to his bag is that the vet has painted his service period in Palestine in 1948, along with a love heart to his sweetheart. In addition, the bag comes complete with it\'s original drawstring. It is a good, untouched example.
British Army Large Pack This is a 1941 dated, issued example. It has 3, period repairs to the webbing. It is otherwise, in very good condition.
British Army Tanker\'s Headphones These are an issued, 1950\'s period set. They have had their wire cords, metal connectors removed, at the ends as shown. There is rusting to the metal components in addition. The rubber headpieces are largely in very good condition, with only some cracking to the rubber. There are no ordnance stamps, on the webbing strap. The yellow, ordnance stripes, on each headset is an impressive feature, on this set. The pair came directly from a vet\'s family and will clean up, a treat.

Capstan Cigarette Advertising Poster This is a Pre war/wartime period, Capstan Cigarette advertising poster. The poster is new to the market and clearly has been framed in the past. It is large sized, measuring 38 by 51 cm and printed on thick card. The poster is strong enough, to be free standing, therefore, it was clearly used as a shop advert. The poster\'s artist\'s autograph is in the bottom, left hand corner. It is 1935 dated, as shown. These posters would have been used in major retail stores, of the period. It is in very good condition, as clearly shown.

It allowed telephone operators to have their service respirators, plugged into their headsets. The set isn\'t date, but is numbered \'Number 6\'. The respirator is 1937/38 dated and is in poor condition, at the back. The headphone set is detachable and is in very good condition.
Commando Snipers Magazine Feature This is an April 1944 dated edition of \'Picture Post\'. The front page features a very rare photo of 2 Commando Snipers, in action in Italy. The Enfield in the foreground is a special issue sniper\'s rifle. The magazine is in very good condition.
Cornwall Regiment Shoulder Title This is a good, wartime example. The badge has a fine, untouched patina. It is maker stamped, which is just visible, under the dirt, on the reverse.

German Armoured Cars This is a 1974 dated, hardback publication. It gives an impressive overview into German armoured cars. The book is packed with a wide range of photos and is in pristine condition.
German Combat Tanks This is a 1972 dated, softback publication, by Altmark Publications. It gives a short guide into the wartime evolution of German combat tanks. The book is well illustrated with photos and some are colour. It is however, staple free, which does means that the pages will fall out easily, out of this publication.
German Propaganda Leaflet This is a February 1944 dated, German propaganda leaflet. These leaflets were dropped on Allied troops in Italy after the invasion of the Italian mainland. This example questioned the Anglo Soviet Alliance. It is printed on low grade paper. The folds on the leaflet show how one soldier chose to keep the leaflet, as a keepsake. It is 2 sided and has one small hole as shown. It is a rare survivor from The Italian Front.

The book was , most surprisingly, awarded to a college student, as a prize. In addition, there is the original July 1943 dated, bookshop letter, informing the college staff, of the availablity of the book !

It shows officers from the 23rd West Riding, Home Guard Battalion, in Halifax. 2 of the battalion titles are clearly visible, in this photo. The previous owner, of this picture, has researched the location, indicating that it was taken outside a Home Guard drill hall in Prescott Street, in Halifax. The photo is a good size and in very good condition.

Wiltshire Civilian Gas Mask This is a Wiltshire County Issue, Civilian Boxed gas mask. The County Information leaflet is still attached , on the top of the box. The gas mask is 1940 dated and a Medium size. It has clearly been left in an attic/garage, since the war. Something has leaked onto the top of the box, which has left staining to it. The box\'s staples have rusted badly, and the side of the box is loose, as clearly shown. In addition, the gas mask\'s safety pins have both rusted very badly, but these can be removed, if required. Another original feature of this gas mask is the box\'s original wartime carrying string. Despite the rusting to the box, the gas mask is in perfect, supple condition.
