His papers show he was soon posted home to Netley hospital then back to regimental headquarters. when he was photographed showing recruits a North Korean flag. brought home for the regiments museum Ernest Akids world war 2 service was with the Manchester Regiment serving with the B.E.F. until 31st May 1940 (Dunkirk) later after home service to North Africa Sicily and Italy.. This scarce Korean group is sold with copies of all his attestation documents, War Diary Entries, His photograph with flag and recruits Ect.
