A \'Dolly Posser\' Simplex No. 6 Copper base with turned wooden handle, this implement used for hand washing (possing) clothes in soapy water by pounding up and down as an alternative to a washboard. In very good condition, the copper base stamped with the model 'Simplex No. 6' being the smallest of its type, the copper base and wooden handle becoming larger as the model number reduced.
Black Leather post WW2 US Army Bullet Pouch For wear on the waist belt with belt slide integral to the rear stitching. In very good condition, the original colour brown, the front now black. Impressed mark to reverse US JQMD 1947 EMS. The front clasp in brass and in good working order. Korean War period.
Bovine Ivory Pendant Pomander Two piece construction with three ribbon holes at narrow end and multi scenting holes to the other. Parts fit tightly with no cracking to either section. Approx. the size of a bantam egg.
Canvas and Metal Land-Mine Marker A rare item being a small tented structure in the style of a pyramid, placed over a suspected land mine as a safety marker. Colour coded marks for identification purposes. The canvas in very good condition with stitching intact and the metal frame showing no oxidisation. Height 15cm.
Continental Silver 2 piece Buckle Often described as 'a nurses' buckle', this example in continental silver with elaborate relief decoration of tropical animals. In excellent condition and probably of around .800 silver.
Copper & Brass Tea Urn of Adam Style In excellent condition, the brass tap in good working order. Elegantly proportioned as an urn rather than a samovar - no heating source for water. Often used to dispense wine or still lemonade or pre-boiled water for tea or coffee. Hasn't been polished for a while so the patina is the same overall and it would shine with a careful polish. Early 20th Century Tantalus of Three Spirit Decanters A traditional oak framed tantalus with falling front and complete with key. Three matching spirit decanters, each with its silver plated label - Whisky, Gin & Brandy. Some nibbling to decanters and one decanter with a chip, nothing detracting from either the items looks or use. A good example with, fortunately, all matching decanters.
Edwardian Leather Hunting Pouch for Sandwich Tin From the heyday of foxhunting - pre WW1 - a good example of the traditional pattern purpose-made leather pouch for holding a pewter sandwich tin designed to be strapped to the saddle. Finely Carved Hardwood Figures of Lion Attacking Buffalo A quality African carving depicting a fierce one-on-one attack by a lion, grasping the back of a buffalo. The sculpture itself showing much movement with the facial expressions of the two animals very lifelike to the situation. An excellent patina to the whole group. Height 9.5", overall width 10".

Original framed coloured print Nelson\'s First Farewell Retaining full colour throughout, the scene shows the young Nelson saying farewell to his grandmother as he leaves to join his ship as a Midshipman in 1771. From the original painting by Geo. W. Joy. The frame is original to the period, this print being published around 1900. Dusty but in very good condition.

Rare 12\" Copper Hunting Horn c.1830 : Swaine & Co. Not often seen at this size, this horn is in remarkably good condition for its age - almost 200 years old. Some dings, of course but blows very well with a deeper tone than more modern horns. Swaine & Co. became Swaine & Adeney in 1834 so the engraved maker's details confirm its vintage. A worthy addition to any horn collection.

RARE Spode George IV Coronation Dinner Part Service In bone china, this part service comprises comport, fruit basket, entree dish and 8 dessert plates of the service made for the Coronation celebrations of George IV at The Brighton Pavilion in 1821 . All pieces bearing the SPODE mark with correct pattern number 3248. An opportunity to acquire several exclusive pieces of Regency history. Items in very good condition retaining gilding and heavily coloured decoration, one plate with a rim chip, otherwise undamaged. The 11 pieces sold together as one lot.
SCARCE 1914 1st Pattern Cap Badge : The Tyneside Scottish Guaranteed original and, as with so many, converted to pin-back as a sweetheart brooch when the 2nd pattern was introduced. Clear evidence of the original lugs - correctly located - and a sharp strike back and front. The pin keeper has broken away but everything about this badge is original. Much sought after by NF collectors as the pattern has been so heavily copied.

Solid Horn Heron with Fish in its Beak Of quality manufacture, this figure is unusual in that the body is of solid horn. The fish is pivoted in the bird's beak to good effect and the detail throughout the model is very good. Not to be confused with the hollow horn tourist items cut from horn section.
Stilton Scoop - A choice of 3 Moving from left to right, the first is silver plated with a silver plated collar to the handle and some plating worn from the bowl ; the second is a fine robust example with silver plated mounts and a strong bone handle whilst the third is similar to the first but with no plating lost and engraved decoration to the bowl. Three Pharmacy Bottles, Two with Labels Wide necked pharmacy bottles, two bearing gilded labels to cartouche insert on the bottle wall. Complete with stoppers and with no chips, cracks or other damage.
Travelling Inkwell. Of traditional form, the rectangular box shape enclosing a glass ink bottle. The closure ensures a seal between the bottle neck and the cork preventing leakage. The cover with fine quality silver plated handle retained with a threaded bolt and wing nut. The dark blue Jasper decoration in fine condition with no signs of damage, the maker's mark impressed to the base.
WW1 Embroidered Postcard : Royal Naval Air Service The card having an embossed outer frame within which is the embroidered device of the RNAS, the letters mounted on a propeller, above that the Eagle all surmounted by a crown. Embroidery and card in excellent condition, the reverse unused and a little faded. All in all, a rare card.
WW1 personal mementos (3) A very finely fretted WW1 period 1 franc coin bearing the date 1917, a fretted 1916 one penny coin and a white metal bar brooch commemorating Ypres. The first two with suspender rings, the latter with brooch pin fixing. All in excellent condition. (3)
